Play for fun, stay in charge
Our games are free and their credits are worth nothing, but time still counts, and games that look like gambling can get a grip on some people. Here’s how to keep things comfortable.
What we’ve built in
- A session timer in the footer of every page shows how long you’ve been on the site in this tab.
- An hourly nudge pops up after each full hour to suggest a break.
- An age check on arrival, plus a date-of-birth check when you sign up.
- Breaks on request. Ask us to pause or restrict your account.
- Instant deletion. Remove your account any time from My account.
Habits that help
- Decide how long you’ll play before you start, then stick to it.
- Take a break each hour: stand, stretch, drink some water, look away from the screen.
- Stop if you feel frustrated, anxious or pushed to carry on.
- Don’t use play to escape stress, loneliness or a low mood, and don’t let it crowd out sleep, work or people.
- Remember that credits aren’t money and earlier results don’t predict what happens next.
Signs it might be becoming a problem
- Playing longer than you planned, or thinking about it most of the day.
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut back.
- Keeping your play secret from people close to you.
- Letting responsibilities slide, or feeling low after sessions.
Free, independent support
