What we use
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| pfs_sid | Cookie (first-party, essential) | Keeps you signed in and protects forms from forgery. Set only when you sign in or open a page with a form (contact, sign in, sign up, forgot password). | Until you close your browser |
| pfs_age | Local storage | Remembers that you confirmed you’re 18 or over in this browser. | Until you clear browser data |
| pfs_notice | Local storage | Remembers that you closed the cookie notice. | Until you clear browser data |
| pfs_under | Session storage | Remembers that you said you’re under 18, so the age check stays closed in that tab. | Until the tab closes |
| pfs_start | Session storage | Records when your visit began, for the timer and hourly reminder. | Until the tab closes |
These are essential to the site working as described, so there’s no on/off switch. The banner is for your information. Clear them in your browser settings whenever you like, and you’ll simply be asked your age again.
Third parties
- Google Sign-In. When it’s switched on, the sign-in and sign-up pages load a script from Google (accounts.google.com), and Google may set its own cookies. See Google’s cookie information. It isn’t loaded on other pages.
- Games. Games open on our Games page from game files hosted on porchfestslc.com, and may use browser storage or cookies to run. We don’t use them to follow you around other sites.
We don’t load third-party fonts, ad networks, analytics or social plug-ins.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site storage. If you block the essential cookie, sign-in and our forms won’t work.
